VMA 08/ Highlights part 2

Rihanna performed "Disturbia". Great "thriller" she recreated. Besides the freakshow, the vocals really were very bad. It was bit hard to see her Struggling with the singing, because she was SO good on her tour. End of.

Pink with literally houseblowing performance of "So What". Very cool one, and only Pink can do that. Her vocals were good, when you think she moved the way she did. Very good. I loved it.

Christina Aguilera then performed her new "Genie in the Bottle", remix she'll feature on her upcoming Greatest Hits-collection. That sounded bit like something from Kelly Osbourne's last album. I like the new style, but like the viewers thought...She did look like a mixture of Britney and Lady Gaga. She also performed her new single "Keeps getting Better" that is awsome! I love it and her new strong style. I just wish her vocals would have been that "strong" to NOT mime the performance. But then again, do we wanna replay the VMA's from 2000 when her vocals were not that great. Anyways, VERY cool performance, besides the miming.

And the highlights of the Winners besides Britney were:

Pussycat Dolls won "Best Dancing in the Video", and they DID dance their arses off. I mean cute tushes and all. And they looked amaizing. And how cute they were! Awww. And Linkin Park won "Best Rock Video" and they deserved it.

Great year!Maybe VMA's next year will be just as hyped. Can they get Britney to perform?Can't wait!

VMA 2008/ It's Britney Bitch!

Britney opened VMA's with hilarious skit and then she was so cute climbing on stage all nervous and opening the show. Didn't she just GLOW. I'm sorry but did they show this LIVE or was this just a clip from 2001, coz I couldn't really tell. She looked the best she's looked in YEARS. I absolutely adore Britney. Shame she didn't perform, but when she will she'll blow us up. She needs couple of more award-shows to go to and be cute in there to have courage to perform.

And then she climbed on stage to recieve few awards, SO deserved this. I'm very happy for her.

VMA 08/ Confirmed presenters and performers!

Digitalspy reports Scarlett Johansson and Lindsay Lohan presenting awards in this years MTV Video Music Awards. Miley Cyrus, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and singer Ciara will also present awards, the network confirmed.

High School Musical stars Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu will also do the honours, alongside Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner from upcoming movie Twilight. The Ting Tings, Katy Perry, T-Pain and Lupe Fiasco will perform hits from the last 25 years to mark the event's quarter century. Pink, Rihanna, Paramore, TI, the Jonas Brothers, Lil Wayne and Kid Rock were previously confirmed for the lineup. The ceremony, to be hosted by Russell Brand, will be held in Los Angeles on September 7.

Britney Spears's manager recently denied rumours that the singer will perform at the awards.

VMA 08/ Britney NOT performing!

BreatheHeavy.com confirms that Britney WON'T be performing. "With four VMA commercials, an accompanying promotional photoshoot featuring host Russell Brand, and three nominations for "Piece Of Me" ("Best Pop Video," "Best Female Video," and "Video Of The Year") fans continue to debate whether Britney Spears will take the stage at the 2008 Video Music Awards on September 7th. Well wait no more.

A source close to the pop star reveals exclusively to BreatheHeavy.com that Britney will attend the award show, but will NOT perform as speculated. "Britney is so excited to attend the VMA show, but as of now there will be no performance," says the insider. "Right now Britney is focusing on her kids and recording."

The source continued to say that Britney appreciates all that her fans have done to assist in the nominations, and hopes to win her first Moon Man this year.

Tune in to MTV on Sunday, September 7th at 9pm ET to see Britney and her first possible victory at the Video Music Awards."

Dissappointing, much? Well, Love to see her anyway. Must see the show.

Mtv Vmas/Britney Spears Cuttes Out!

There is a post in PerezHilton.com telling that the MTV Video Music Awards has aired in parts of Europe this past weekend and Britney’s disastrous performance was cut from the show.It was cut in Mtv Asia,Poland,Portugal,Hungary and in Turkey, tho it was viewed perfectly in Germany,Ireland and in some parts of Europe.Youtube and Jive has been working together deleting all the videos from the performance, Mtv.ca said they were forced to remove the performance from their site and any future reruns indefinately and Jive records and Britney Herself seems to want the take the attention away from the performance to the upcoming Music video release of "Gimme More",that Jive records confirmed to be happening soon.

I also think this was not that big of a deal to be fuzzed about for weeks but this seems bit stupid after all.We all saw it.So why you want to change the history?Anyway,Lets wait for the anticipated video!

VMA 07/Disapointment!

Rihanna performed Umbrella and Shut Up and Drive.Shut Up and Drive was performed with Fall Out Boy and it was okay.Nice one.She rocked the room with her performance and her sound was cool.Umbrella one was amaizing.Chris Brown started it with "Wall to Wall" and i loved it.The song is nothing special but his performance was awsome!Rihanna continued with Umbrella and Mr Brown finnished the performance with "Kiss Kiss".The performance overall was bit messy.Like three diffirent performances melted into one.Rihanna should have gotten own one,Longer performance with Umbrella with possibly duet with Chris.

Fifty and Justin saving the show?Not really.5o Cent,Justin Timberlake and Timbaland(Why is he always pulling himself on everything) were performing Ayo Technology.Performance was nothing special and overall it sucked.Justin and Timbaland are getting annyoing with giving nothing and wanting all the attention everywhere.Justins vocals were bad and the performance was a bomb.

Nelly Furtado,Timbaland and Justin Timberlake closed the show.Nelly starts up with weird Kate Bush-esque singing and then brings up "Do it".She performs well,tho her clothes are horrible and she does not look herself with blonde hair.After few minutes,Timbaland starts up and the song turns into "The Way i are".The green laser lights appear and Timbaland starts to rap.Keri Hilson goes along with her sweet vocals.She sounds off-key but then the song changes again.This remix is horrible.Three songs that have nothing to do with each other mixed into one.From Timbaland-hit it goes to "Lovestoned" with Justin.The way the lights change in to Disco-ball and blue looks very cool,but when Justin starts to sing,he sounds off-key too.Chorus is playback and overall i get disapointed over his always so pure vocals.As he does nothing to me vocally,he starts to dance.That is one thing he knows how to and does not disapoint me.Then the horrible intro vocals of "Give it to me" starts and i suddenly hope something great to come up after Nelly was amaizing and Keri/Justin-disapointment.Well."Give it to me" turns out to be just big mess of shouting and noise.I feel so angry with this.I just think the whole night was just big disapointment.Alicia Keys,Fall Out Boy and Linkin Park among some others performed but were nothing major.This has to be biggest mess of the MTV History.High hopes for EMA´s 07?

Only performance i did enjoy was pre-show one with Nicole Scherzinger.There is no video of it currently but i will add it when i get it.

Britney Spears/Shock!

First impression was close up from her face.She had blue contacts and looked very nervous.I know we were nervous for her.When i saw the thing she was wearing and i was so much more worried over her.She almost seemed to trip in the beginning,like her heel would have been broken.She seemed nervous and uncomfortable for the whole time.Like she was forced to do it.She had no passion with the moves,She had just very nervous looking eyes for the whole time.I begun to worry more and before the end,i was very shock,my jaws dropped and i felth like crying.How?Why?What was the reason the biggest anticipated comeback ever was ruined?Why she was so unsecure and scared?And why did she wear something like that after she looked fucking hot in reharsals even with normal top and jeans on.She lipsynced the whole set poorly,she bearly mimed on some points and moves looked like she could not even move properly.I felth disapointed as i still do and so sad for her.This was supposed to work and everyone were being so supportive.

Fans keep wondering what happened to the old pop princess that used to be the light of MTV VMA every years and that now turned like “just another” performer with low class moves and not feeling comfortable while on stage.

Look At Britney Spears left shoe (boot) high heel! its broken!Just an accident (Britney’s shoe heels broke while dancing) or a real boycott from MTV’s part to get higher rankings?

According to illuminated.com, Criss Angel and Britney’s magical performance got denied at last minute by the hotel management due to “insurance reasons” because the stage couldn’t really support such a great performance. "Insurance was the main problem, and the stage couldn’t support the performance …Britney’s original performance was to infact appear and disappear. To float through the air… and for much mature dancing."

Comedian Sarah Silverman was also pointed to be “guilty” for the “low quality” performance by paparazzi agency x17online.com. Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney's babies mistakes and takes jab after jab at Britney.Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed. That big-mouthed bitch said it anyway.

Perhaps this why Britney looked upset during her performance.

"A new Britney Spears track, "Gimme More," is expected to hit the airwaves next week, according to sources at Jive Records. The up-tempo cut, produced by Timbaland right-hand-man Nate "Danjahandz" Hills, will appear on Spears' new album, but sources say it has yet to be decided whether it will be the official lead single or simply a setup track.

Spears is known to have worked with J.R. Rotem and Sean Garrett on as-yet-unnamed tracks. "I've got this one record I've been holding for 10 months that everyone has tried to buy, but I stayed with Britney on it," Garrett told Billboard in late June. "I guarantee it will shake up the world. It's uptempo, out of control ... it's wowzers, produced by me and Bloodshy.

Dancer of the upcoming Performance in VMA´s Tells "We're working very hard for the 9th september performance, where Britney Spears will close the show with a Medley of her new single, Gimme More, and a beautiful ballad called Cry. The performance will be amazing.

Madonna/VMA Performer!

Madonna will repeat history by debuting a brand new song at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. She promises to deliver a performance like none other. It was 23 years ago from this year when Madonna first emerged from a huge wedding cake, rolling about in a white weddingdress on the MTV stage, debuting a new song no one had heard before... "Like AVirgin". Madonna is excited to debut her new song from her forthcoming new album due for release late November. Inside sources claim the performance will be a huge production including two other Superstars backing her up(Hello?!Timbaland and JT are both performing.For sure all three will do one together). A video and single of the same song will be released late September or the early part of October. Madonna's people are being tight lipped about the new song she plans to debut, but fans are sure to speculate it will be the 17 second non confirmed clip tentatively titled "Candy Shop" that leaked on the internet a few weeks back. But fans shouldn't rush too quick to speculate because the clip that leaked may never even turn up on the new album. MTV also plans a two hour special celebrating Madonna's 25 years in the entertainment business which will air later this year and throughout the early part of 2008. A host of who's who will help kick off the big special by performing some of her biggest hits, ending with another big performance from Madonna. Back at home, Madonna plans to take a short break from putting finishing touches on her new album, to concentrate on her family and finalizing the adoption of babyDavid whom she brought home from Malawi nearly a year ago. Once the adoption is finalized, Madonna hopes to work non-stop throughout next summer, to promote her new album, her new English Roses books, make videos, prepare for a tour and go on a huge 25th Anniversary tour which will be the biggest tour in history for her. Madonna is excited to perform her new songs as well as resurrect old hits she hasn't performed in years. Looks like Madonna tries to steal the light from Britney.Not really happening,Britney should be the main thing on stage as she starts the show apparently.

Mtv Video Music Awards will be aired 9th September,Still a month to go.Confirmed Performances includes Timbaland and Fall Out Boy,Lily Allen,Amy Winehouse,Kanye West and Foo Fighters.Also Rihanna and Chris Brown has been listed,So does it mean a duet of Umbrella-Remix?Who knows.Also there is still open case of possible Spice Girls and Britney Spears performances.Britney might not be ready yet and Spice Girls have not rehearsed yet as Emma has not yet given birth to her baby.It is more likely that they perform in EMA´s at November, but there is still conversations happening about those.
