Ne-Yo turned down Spice Girls for Rihanna. Singer/songwriter Ne-Yo was approached by the Spice Girls to write tracks for their recent Greatest Hits album - but he turned them down in favour of working with Rihanna.The hitmaker was busy working with the Umbrella songstress when he received the call from the newly reformed girl band.And the R&B star was forced to say no as he couldn’t fit them into his hectic schedule.

He says, “The Spice Girls asked me to write some songs but I couldn’t find the time. They wanted something for their comeback album but I never got round to getting it done. I was recording songs for Rihanna at the time.”

In the latest interview, Geri Halliwell confirms her solo career is over and she will not make another album. She will continue writing and publishing children's books. Melanie B is set to comeback with her 3rd solo album, and Melanie C is currently still promoting her 4th album, "This Time" in Canada. Unfortunately the album is nowhere to be seen on charts.

Melanie C, Currently the most active member as a solo artist is preparing a tour in Canada to promote her "This Time" album, released in Canada. She recently confessed plans for next record, "I get the feeling that my next record is going to be a bit tougher again." But she is writing a new album, so any predictions are too early. Latest reports also say that Emma Bunton wrote songs on the Spice Girls tour and is now considering releasing another solo album.

Lindsay Lohan-fans can expect to hear her new single on the radio in the next few
months, insider of the star confirms. “She already has four songs completed. It’ll be a fall release and they’re looking to sneak a single to radio this summer,” a source close to Lohan tells PEOPLE.

Reports claimed Lohan blew off several meetings with Grammy-winning producer Timbaland, but the source close to Lohan says she’s hard at work on the album and denies the meetings were ever set up, “though Lindsay would love to work with him,” the source adds. A rep for Timbaland confirms that he was never scheduled to work with Lohan. A Universal Music Group spokesman told PEOPLE in a statement: “Recent reports about Lindsay Lohan and the status of her upcoming album are completely and factually untrue. What is true is that she continues to be extremely focused and hard at work on the project. And as a company, we are looking forward to releasing the album when she is done.”

If that wasn't enough, Lindsay's sister Ali Lohan is in the studio recording an album. She has confirmed the album to be urban-pop, the music she likes to listen right now. Ironic or not, her sister Lindsay has a urban-pop record coming up too.

New albums are on the way!Pop-star JoJo confirmed that her new album will be titled " All I Want Is Everything" , and will be released later this year. She also said she is working with Timbaland, Polow da Don, and DJ Toomp. There is loads of new records coming up later this year, Sophie-ellis bextor has confirmed that she has plans to release her 4th album before greatest hits.

All Saints, Pussycat Dolls, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce, Michelle Williams, Brandy, Christina Aguilera, Hilary Duff, Marie Serneholt, Ashley Tisdale, Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson, Missy Elliott, t.A.T.u, Vanessa Hudgens and Tweet have all been confirmed to having records out soon, most of them this year.

There is also unconfirmed information about future material from Rachel Stevens, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Osbourne, Anastacia, Monrose, Atomic Kitten, Paris Hilton and Take That.

When tickets went on sale for the first UK show at the O2 Arena they sold out in a record breaking 38 seconds. It was clear this was going to be no ordinary tour. Within days the girls extended their 02 run to an incredible 17 shows. If it hadn’t been for other tour commitments they could have continued to add dates. Spice fever was well and truly back.

The Return Of The Spice Girls Tour finally kicked off to global critical acclaim in Vancouver on the 2nd of December 2007 and this stage of the tour will finally come to an end on February 26th in Toronto. Within that time the girls will have performed shows in the US, UK and Europe to well over half a million fans. The icons of girl power are still at the top of their game. The girls have been stunning audiences with their high-energy performances and have brought back some much needed fun, excitement and glamour to the music world.

In the US the LA Daily News reported, “They may just be better than ever on this tour,” and that the tour “wasn’t a comeback at all, it was an upgrade”. The San Francisco Chronicle wrote, “The Spice Girls is the reunion that matters this year. Spice Girls prove they have staying power”. In the UK the Independent On Sunday commented, “Brassier, bolder and better than ever. This was a spectacular show.” The News Of The World claimed, “Those girls are STILL amazing on stage. What a show – everything all the mad fans could hope for after ten long years of waiting.”

Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria. It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in. As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options, who knows what the future might bring!

The girls said: “We’ve had such an amazing time over the last 3 months. It’s been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again. We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time. There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto. Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next.”

Now, That is a disapointment.Lucky me that got to see them.Something still tells me this is not the Final goodbye.

First Promo Singles has been sendt out in Radio stations and it is finally confirmed that "My Love is Pink" will be their 3rd Single.The song is Single-worthy and Pop/Dance Song with electric beats.It will be great single with great video.But there is no more details revealed yet.

The Rerelease is set to include all the orginal versions songs remixed, 3 new songs (Including "Holiday" & the "Reach Out" without the rapper and version of "Reach Out" with "The Prophet.""Love Is A Battlefield" & "A Day Away" are not set to be released in Re-release.
"Reach Out" will be the first single and video will be shot in coming weeks, but the the concept for the video is still unknown. The video will be premiered on the first week of February.

Billboard Confirms that Ashlee Simpson shot the video for "Out of My Head (Ay Ya Ya)" on Thursday 6th. Ashlee describes the video: "One of my favorite artists is Salvador Dali. You'll see a little bit of that surrealism in it. There's a bit of 'Being John Malkovich' in there too. It's a little out there," she says with a laugh.

"Out of My Head (Ay Ya Ya)" goes to iTunes and other leading digital retailers on Tuesday. Like a good percentage of the new album, it was produced by Timbaland, who tapped into Simpson's love of '80s music when crafting the material. "There's definitely influences here and there from it, but it's definitely not a full-on '80s record," Simpson says. "There's a pop/rock element as well," she notes, pointing to songs like "Never Dream Alone" and the sassy "Rulebreaker." Elsewhere, "Murder" will feature a rap from Gym Class Heroes member Travis McCoy.

"I've never gone into a room and worked with somebody who puts a beat on and you start going," says Simpson, who also worked in the studio with Kenna and the Neptunes' Chad Hugo. "It felt like somewhere to go with the record where I'd never been." Simpson plans to decide the album title over the holiday break, but is already looking toward her return to the live stage. "I want to do like a smaller club tour first," she says. "Probably around February, we'll be back."

Mtv reports that Britney wants fans to give her a piece of them right back — by directing a separate video for her, with the winning clip to be played on "TRL." The "Britney Spears Wants a Piece of You" contest launches on Monday, at which point MTV will open its vaults of the footage shot of the pop singer over the years, including interviews, red-carpet appearances and performances. Fans who want to get their Spielberg on can access the goods via the MTV Video Remixer. Pick the shots you like, mash them up and hit "send" — clips can be up to 3:34 in length or shorter. Submissions are due by December 14. MTV, Jive Records and Britney herself will decide the winner, whose video will be premiered exclusively on "TRL" on December 20. That's well before the airing of the video Spears shot this week — that won't surface until January at earliest. The winning "Piece of Me" video will also get an all-day premiere on MTV Hits and an online premiere on MTV.com.

Rihanna confirmed in MTV's TRL that there will be 5th Single as the album has been so succesful. 5th single will either be ''Good Girl Gone Bad'', ''Breakin' Dishes'', or ''Rehab''. ''Breakin' Dishes'' would be great choise from out behalf. Others are great and strong tracks and could work as Single releases but are not strong enough to be chosen over the feisty "Breakin Dishes".Anyway, Glad to hear we will get more from her.

Spice Girls are not having similar succes with Greatest Hits that they used to, but they are not doing as bad as press states. They sold 22,516 copies in one day and are in the midweeks at #2 just behind the Leona Lewis. "Headlines" has slipped out of Top 20 four places but for sure will shoot much higher when the physical CD Single is out and once they will perform live at Friday.The Special CIN-Performance will be taped in LA in studio but will be prodcasted live in Friday. Right now the girls are ready to decide the 3rd single from the upcoming "Tangled Up"-album that is released on 19th of November.

Label staff, disappointed with the shambolic recent promo to comeback single Gimme More, are engaged in frantic negotiations with the troubled star to persuade her to pull out all the stops for her next clip. And they want Brit to provide a promo that rivals the red hot "Toxic" clip that saw the star clad in a shimmering flesh-coloured body stocking.

And with the troubled mum of two refusing to do any interviews or TV appearances to promote her most recent Blackout album staff at her Jive record label are even keener for her to produce another head-turning vid. A source for SUN magazine said: “Staff at the label are desperate for Britney to come up with the goods. The album has been well received, but the video to Gimme More fell far short of standards. With no prospect of Brit talking to the media to promote her album, they need something that will capture the public’s imagination and they think the best way to do that is with a jaw-dropping clip.”

And in an unprecedented move the label is happy to move the release date of the track to accommodate a spectacular promo shoot. The song is scheduled to hit shop shelves in January, but may well be put back until late February if more time is needed. What’s more, I can reveal that recent chart-topper ROBYN provides top secret backing vocals on the track, which was recorded in her native Sweden."
