Kylie Minogue along with other artists have recorded cover versions for an album to celebrate BBC Radio 1's 40th anniversary.The compilation includes versions of 40 songs, one taken from each of the years that the station has been on air.The album, titled Radio 1. Established 1967, will be released on 1 October.

t.A.T.u are making a comeback after their previous succes,Dangerous and Moving.In recent interview girls tell little bit of info behind this 3rd project.Only thing that is getting everyone worried is the thing that Yulia is pregnant again.Yulia herself denies that it would effect.
"It’s not the first time and I know how to handle it. For the second, third month is not any critical moment and I’m in a great and an adequate shape. I’m intended to perform at least until October. As it goes in one song “I’m pregnant but it’s temporarily”.
Tatu are fully creating their third album at the studio in Los Angeles and the public is looking forward to the new material from this scandalous group. Possible 1st single could be brand new song called Ne Zhaley (Don’t Regret). The album itself, taking into account the tendency of the special Tatu sound, promises to be less depressive than Ludi Invalidy (Dangerous and Moving) and to be of a more dance style. Valery Polienko and Serguey Galoyan are involved in the album. They are the authors of the most powerful Tatu-hits as Ya Soshla S Uma (All The Things She Said) and Nas Ne Dogonyat (Not Gonna Get Us). It promises the album to become a super hit. Of course, the typical Tatu metaphoric lyrics will be preserved and will continue the theme of Ludi Invalidi (Dangerous And Moving). The new album will be called Upravlenie Otbrosami (Waste Management).3rd album will be released in the end of the year,date will be annouced soon.

Wow.That came from nowhere.Nicole Scherzinger and her new video "Baby Love".The video is laid back and fun,bit of a story from the day of Nicole and her Boyfriend.The song is grower and i have found myself liking it better than i used to,But it is not a masterpiece.The video fits to the song and is nice one,Nice promotion to her body.That is what i call it.I feel disapointed as she seems to be getting out of her clothes more than making actually great promotion.Her pictures and videos are like a theme to her body and how much she shows that.She sells with sex.Ditto.

But i like the video,Not as much as her previous one as it had more unique things,this one could have been made by anyone.But its all good.Release the song so we can see how it charts!

One of the most unconventional frontmen in rock, System Of A Down singer Serj
Tankian emerges as a solo artist with his debut album Elect The Dead. System Of
A Down, whose five genre-bending studio albums have sold over 16 million copies,
went on an extended hiatus in August 2006. Since then, Tankian has been holed up
in his home studio in Los Angeles writing, recording, and producing Elect The
Dead. It is an album that showcases the writing and arranging prowess of a man
best known for his inimitable vocals, incisive lyrics, and unwavering dedication
to humanitarian causes.

“Making Elect The Dead, I felt the exact same energy as I did recording System’s
debut in 1998, that sense of open experimentation, the idea that ‘Wow, I’m
actually doing this…’ I was living, eating, and shitting this music every day.
I’d wake up in the morning and the thought of working on a song was so powerful
I couldn’t focus on anything else.”

Neither a mellow excursion into world music or the frantic war-cry of System
that some had predicted, Elect The Dead is multi-faceted and multi-layered. It
contains elements of psychedelia, classical, and the trademark surrealist images
and skewed time signatures that Tankian has made his own. It is both
thought-provoking and from the heart.

“It’s definitely a rock record,” Tankian says enthusiastically. “It’s a moving
album with a lot of ups and downs, starts and stops, and tempo changes. It’s
depressing but it’s uplifting; it’s jazzy but it rocks.”

Born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1967 to Armenian parents during tumultuous political
times, Tankian lived in Beirut until 1975 when his family emigrated to Los
Angeles. A graduate of Marketing & Business from California State University,
Tankian was running his own business developing Propriety Vertical Industry
Modular Accounting Software (surely a first for a budding rock star?) when in
1995 he co-founded System Of A Down with three friends from the
Armenian-American community.

Over the next ten years, System rose to become one of the most inventive hard
rock bands of their generation — a band with a conscience, a message, and a
desire to constantly evolve. Tankian’s contributions included not only the
confrontational and often cryptic lyrics, but also a unique singing voice
heavily inspired by growing up listening to his father sing traditional Armenian
music. Tankian sings in a cadence like no other: An abrasive, paint-stripping,
pulpit-bashing roar one moment, a maudlin lament the next.

Having achieved their goals, the members of System Of A Down decided to pursue
their own projects. Tankian continued his work with Axis Of Justice — the
grass-roots activist organization he launched with Rage Against The Machine
guitarist Tom Morello — and nurtured his own Serjical Strike Records. He also
lent his vocal and remix skills to a number of artists, ranging from Tool and
Deftones to Wu Tang Clan and Notorious B.I.G., and published a book of poetry,
Cool Gardens (2002), which remains a best-selling poetry collection. In 2003, he
recorded a pan-international sounding album with acclaimed multi-instrumentalist
Arto Tunчboyac--yan, under the name SerArt.

It should, by now, be pretty obvious that Serj Tankian is not your typical
frontman.

Which brings us back to Elect The Dead. Forget the endless parade of
collaborators, guests, remixers, or producers, the album is entirely Serj,
though SOAD’s John Dolmayan and Brian ‘Brain’ Mantia (Primus, Tom Waits, Guns N
Roses) do lend their drumming skills to the project, and guitarist/bassist Dan
Monti and opera soprano Ani Maldjian make an appearance as well.

“With Elect The Dead, the sky’s the limit. There are no barriers between myself
and the listeners on this album. It’s more direct,” says Tankian. “It’s
liberating because all the choices are mine. With this record all success or
failure rests with me. It made me realize that I have an amazing life and I am
getting to make a lot of my dreams come true.”

Girls Aloud are preparing for the second single release already:

"Sexy! No no no... is available to download from Friday31 August and we’re already looking at the next Girls Aloud single. It’s called ‘Call The Shots’ and it’s out at the end of November, so we’re thinking about what the video should look like and asking directors to send in their pitches over the next week. We're looking do something a bit less hectic than the last video. It’s always exciting and sometimes funny to see how video directors interpret songs when it comes to putting forward ideas for videos. Things we expect to see in our inbox this time round:

1. There’s a good bit in the ‘Call The Shots’ chorus which would lend itself to a ‘lasso’ style dance move, so there might be a country and western theme somewhere along the way. Perhaps there could also be a duel in the video, with the girls hounding five no-good cowboys out of town.

2. The song is called ‘Call The Shots’ and the phrase ‘call the shots’ derives from target practice. Perhaps someone will propose a video featuring the Girls as five Robin Hoods.

3. Shooting is something made popular by dandy highwayman Dick Turpin. We can already picture Nicola on horseback holding up English aristocracy on a country lane.
